The traditional dent repair method involves removing the paint by grinding and sanding, and then filling the dent with body filler. A metal panel or part of a panel will, in most cases, be replaced with a new panel or a new metal area, which is then painted. This process is costly, requires a considerable amount of electricity, and involves disposing of the old metal body panels.
