Mark
In 2008 Mark Attewell joined the Dented team. Mark, a former student of Dave’s, had been working in Calgary as a PDR technician and shop manager since 2002. Mark was already a leader in his craft when he joined Dented. His experience as a hail repair technician has taken Mark all across Canada to handle hail catastrophe sites. Mr Attewell’s experience as a technician is surpassed only by his strong mind for the business of the industry, and his skills as a manager. Before starting his career in PDR Mark was responsible for managing a large group of employees and his ease in doing so was an immediate and great help. His contributions to Dented since joining Dave Clark have allowed the company to expand province wide, while maintaining an excellent service record.
Josh
Also joining Dented in 2008 was Josh Kidd. Josh originally trained with Mark Attewell, and was fortunate enough to train alongside a number of very skilled technicians in the early part of his career. Josh has always been very passionate about providing the highest quality repairs possible. Always experimenting with new tools and techniques, its no wonder Josh was named the 2007 Mercury Award winner for being the top producing technician in a Canadian franchise. As the main trainer of all new and current technicians, Mr. Kidd has passed much of his knowledge on to the Dented team since coming on board. His daily involvement with staff and sub contractors has been a key ingredient in maintaining a positive and productive environment for all our team members.
Dented has continued to grow since opening in 2005. Today, Dented has 4 body shop locations with high-quality car dent repair services including one in Calgary (433 – 58th Avenue SE Suite B, Calgary, AB – ph: 403.457.4245), one in Red Deer (#1, 7450 – 49 Avenue Crescent, Red Deer, AB – ph: 403.406.3533), one in Edmonton (17213 – 107 Avenue, Edmonton, AB – ph: 587.557.4245) and one in Saskatoon (517 44th Street East Saskatoon, SK – ph: 306.519.1257). Our vehicle repair process removes damage through our environmentally friendly process by sculpting the vehicle’s original body panels. We don’t use paint or body fillers.
Our guarantee is that all Autobody Enviro-Technology® metal sculpting will be done to the satisfaction of our clients. It is this guarantee that makes us Calgary’s Most Trusted Auto Body Shop.
Autobody Enviro-Technology involves the repair of an automobile’s exterior panels using the most environmentally friendly processes possible.
The Paintless Dent Repair process starts with gaining access to the backside of the dent. The dent technician will select one of the many specialty tools to massage the dent with, as the tools vary in size, shape, and strength.
The first step in the removal of a door ding is to polish all impact scratching out of the dent, so a clear view of the painted surface can be seen for massaging out the dent.
Hail Damage affects mostly the horizontal panels on a vehicle: the hood, the roof, the trunk, the tops of the front fenders, and the tops of the rear quarter panels.
